Hello everyone!
A Little about me…My name is Ryan Chase Hughes. I am 27, and I am from Roanoke, VA. I have 2 brothers I am the middle child. I was Born in Spartanburg, SC. I have been a World Traveler for as long as I can remember. My travels have taken me everywhere from Israel to Alaska to Japan to Chile to Mozambique. I love to travel and love to meet new people and experience new cultures. I am very spontaneous and love a good random adventure in my life.
I am excited about what God will do on this trip… in me… to me… and through me! I have some missions experience, last year I spent a month in Mozambique with Iris Ministries working in an Orphanage there. Ever since then I have had the Missions bug and have wanted to go back out in the field sooooo bad! I felt the call for this trip in January this year…I am a HUGE fan of “The Amazing Race!” and was watching an episode at home by myself. It has always been my dream to be on that show…so I began to pray to the Lord….”God I wish there was a race or trip like this for Believers to go on…and instead of only being one winner of this race… that everyone that was on the race would be a winner in you…and that YOU GOD would be the prize we run after, and that hearts would be changed and lives transformed…God you know the desires of my heart! You know my heart for the NATIONS! God I ask you…what would you have me do next……” After this prayer I got online on Facebook and in the right hand column there was an advertisement for “The World Race” on the screen….I was instantly fixed on it and clicked…little did I know that my prayer and that one click of the mouse would change my whole world, and my Life for the next year! What God has done since then has been nothing short of a Miracle in my life. He has opened doors in Relationships…Finances…Housing….Job situations! God has done the IMPOSSIBLE in my life! It excites me everyday to have a Father…a God that loves me soooo much and provides and cares for my every need even beyond my expectation or want to the point of overflowing I am blessed!
I say…. God …send me….send me, I am ready for an adventure in you God…I let go of all my wants and say ABBA FATHER you will Provide my every need…and I will Listen for you!
