Hey everyone !

Sorry it’s been so late my since I’ve posted a blog post! I have been in India for just over 2 months now with not alot of wifi. God has been doing so much while being in India so far! My first ministry for the month was doing a lot of VBS programs which was incredible to be able to work with young kids and teach them songs and tell them bible stories. After doing VBS programs we started working in the English school here which we taught different classes throughout the week. During our first month we also went around to local communities and went house to house praying for people. Going around praying for people was amazing because a good majority of people we prayed for were not Christian. I remember one house we went to there was a Hindu woman that lived there and her arm has been hurting for 15 years with constant pain, and I felt the Lord saying she was going to be healed that day. So I asked if we could pray and lay hands on her arm and we prayed and she was healed!! The reaction from the woman touched my heart so much because she was in disbelief not knowing what just happened, and she was crying because she was so grateful. That created an opportunity for us to share the gospel and really speak into her life which was just a special moment! Another house we went to there was a mans leg that has been hurting him for a few years so we also prayed over him and the Lord healed his leg also! which just was another amazing opportunity to share the gospel through that! The next morning my team and I were eating breakfast, and then my ministry host came out and said she had good news! She explained that the same house we prayed over the man his wife who was next to the man when we were praying also had back pain that she never told us about, but she woke up the next morning with no more back pain She called my ministry host filled with joy. Those stories are just a few things that have happened so far in India, but those ones have impacted me a lot because our God is a healing God and a God who is alive and not dead! I have been walking down the streets of India seeing the rocks people actually worship, and I am broken hearted because a good majority of people only believe in their religion because it’s what their ancestors have always believed in. Our God is soooooo much bigger and more powerful than a rock. Our God is a God that we can have a relationship with , and a God who loves me so much even though I mess up so much! A God that is alive! An encouragement for all my friends and family is don’t wait to go on a mission trip to share the gospel. There is a hurting world all around you with people who are lost and need to be found. You don’t need to go on a mission trip across the world to share the gospel with people. There is an opportunity for you everyday if that’s work, school, the park, or in a store! God has called us to share this good news and not keep it for ourselve!

Love, Ryan
