Go back… All the way back. All the way back to before God ever spoke life onto the earth, before He created the earth, and before light came firing out of His mouth by His command… What can we even begin to imagine?
Well imagine this… Out in the middle of nothingness, there’s this one thing that is existing. There’s this one thing way out in the distance of pure black and emptiness. There’s absolutley nothing in all of existence, except one thing. And this one thing is radiating with wisdom and knowledge and holiness and glory and righteousness and might and power and emotion and mercy and grace. Can you see it? Can you imagine what’s out there? Here, close your eyes and imagine that… What do you see?
There’s only one thing out there. And that one thing, is love… Love is the only thing existing before anything else entered into existence. And love radiated with pure wisdom and knowledge and holiness and glory and righteousness and might and power and emotion and mercy and grace. And in knowing this truth (Yes I said truth. This is exactly what truth is btw), that would have to mean that love is infinite. Love is infinite. Actually, better put. Love Is.
And with all the characteristics of love, love had this amazing plan. Love created the heavens and the earth. Love created light. Love created and crafted the stars and the galaxies. Love created the sky and the mountains and the waters. Love created the fish and the birds and the mammals. Love created it all. And in that, love created its most beautiful and prized masterpiece. Us. Love created man and woman in it’s image. Nothing else in all of existence was made in love’s image, but man and woman. And FYI, that would mean. You.
So everything was good. Man had his eye on love, and everything was awesome! Man literally walked in the fullness of love. Of this infinite love… And then… Man took his eye off of love and acted out in disobedience. Man sinned and went against love. Man ruined the goodness and perfection of love’s creation. And so hatred and evil came into this world and spoiled the infinite love that roamed all throughout the earth. But love knew. Love already knew. Love knew that even its beautifully designed creation would faulter, because nothing could truly be the exact replica of love itself. So, because love knew, love already had a plan to redeem its creation. Love knew that its people would need a savior. Love knew that in creating man, evil would exist. That sin would exist. And that ultimately death would exist.
Love has fearfully and wonderfully created all people. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of love. Love knew you before you were ever born into this world. And in that, love wants and desires you to be free from death and enter in the fullness of life. Love loves you. LOVE LOVES YOU! Do you get that?? Love. Love itself, itselfes you. HA! Riddle me that! Love. Loves. You. Love is love and love can’t do anything other than love. That’s what love is. And love created you and desires you to be with it in its fullness!! LOVE!
Love gives death no power when it’s presence is in you! Death has no power over love! Do you get that!? Love is life. And life is the opposite of death! Love came into this world and defeated death! Love came, and love itself paid a price for you! Because of man ultimately taking eyes off of love and onto mans self, man disobeyed love and death held power over those without love. But love came HERE, and Love completely obliterated death! And all those who seek after love, will find love, and love will dwell inside you. And if love is IN you, then death has no place for you. Only life! Do you get this!?!? LOVE CREATED, LOVE GOT REJECTED, LOVE CAME TO THE CREATION THAT REJECTED AND REDEEMED THE CREATION WITH ITSELF! LOVE REDEEMED ITS CREATION BECAUSE LOVE LOVED ITS CREATION AND LOVE CANT NOT LOVE WHAT LOVE CREATED! EVERYTHING IS, BECAUSE LOVE WAS AND IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE LOVE!

Now that you know what love is, know that God is love…

A lot of people don’t know this, and I feel like most of those who do, forget. I know I did. This is the outmost, #1, super, absolute crucial, ultimate thing to know. If there’s anything that someone should know, it’s that love loves us, and in that, we have love inside of us. And in that, we can love love, and love others. Because here’s the absolute pure truth…. Without love, everything is completely useless and meaningless. Without love, there is literally… Nothing. And do you happen to remember what I said existed in the VERY beginning. There was what? Love and…. and nothing. There was nothing. Literally nothing. We can be as successful as man could be. As beautiful as man could be. As talented as man could be. As knowledgeable as man could be. As powerful as man could be. As wealthy as man could be. As nice as man could be. As generous as man could…But without love, it’s ALL complete garbage, and will ultimately lead to absolute nothingness… Check this out —->
1 Corinthians 13:1-10
“1 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
“4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
“8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless.”
It’s all about love. It doesn’t matter how smart or caring or empowering or cool or powerful you are, if love is not the driving force behind what you are, then it ultmalety it has no true value. All value in knowledge and wisdom, spiritual gifts, generosity, sacrifice, hope, and even faith, is lost. It’s where love is, where there will be true value. For what else is truly valuable than that in which created all of what can be valued? The truth is, love is.
And just to be clear, If you hadn’t noticed, I am not talking about the worlds definition of love. Because that is NOT love. I’m talking about love’s definition of love. What love actually is. The love that IS God.
So here’s the thing… I want to love the way love loves. I want love like God loves. I want to be in love’s presence. I want to truly have love being the force that drives who I am and what I believe and what I do. It doesn’t matter how much I know, or how badly I want the world to know love. If love isn’t behind my knowledge and my desire for the world to know it, then it really isn’t what it should be. Everything ought to be truly and genuinely out of love. And when God’s people actually do all things out of love, then this love will contaminate the world. And when God and His love once again spreads and contaminates the world, I can only imagine the outcome… because the thing is, the outcome is already known. Death defeated. Love victorious. And all those that find love, will forever be with love.
