Over the past few weeks a song kept coming over the radio and I felt like God continued to speak to me every time I listened to it. The name of the song is “Do Something” by Mathew West. The lyrics that spoke straight to my heart are:
If not us, then who
If not me and you
Right now, it’s time for us to do something
If not now, then when
Will we see an end
To all this pain
It’s not enough to do nothing
It’s time for us to do something
These lyrics reaffirm my choice to go on the World Race and continue to speak to my heart. God is calling me to go and serve and songs like this make me feel like I’m going to be doing what He wants while I’m in Central and South America.
It warms my heart to know that artist like Matthew West are writing songs about what what we are meant to do. God told us and continues to tell us to “Go and do likewise.” While I will have more resources available to me than the Apostles did, I look forward to continuing their work and His work.
Thank you for your support and continued prayers. Thank you to all the amazing people that have donated to help me go on this once in a lifetime trip. It speaks volumes to my heart and makes me feel loved.
