"I love you, O Lord, my strength." – Many months leading up to the race I prayed for the Lord to transform me into a leader, "not to [me], O Lord, not to [me] but to your name be the Glory, because of your love and faithfulness." I prayed that whatever a "leader" may look like to him for my life that he shape and transform me.  (As I wrote this I was on the plane back to Ft Lauderdale) – Early on my flight I saw a young boy, tiny feet, blue eyes, fascination and innocence. As I sat there, I came to realize I saw me as a young child.  The Lord knows the plans he has for that young boys life, just as he did for me at that Age. (Later on the flight he told me he was 3, I didn't ask his age and all I could understand was I thought he said "I'm Free" – He was astonished when I told him I was free[3])
 – The theme of Warrior and courage kept pressing on my heart this past week at training camp. As I climb to the top of a hill on Friday to get some solitude time with the Lord, looking for guidance, I get more then I was looking for. As my heart was desperately looking for filling, around the corner comes Christy (One of the A Squad leaders, so we met and chatted) – We get into convo and she leads me directly to Psalm 18 with no hesitation.

Psalm 18:34
"He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze." –
The Lord has been training me my whole life up to this point, my short comings, failures and victories all come together. My B-Squad Brotha Wade told me he wanted to go to war with me, affirming in me that I am a warrior. The Lord solidified this in the Psalm. "It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect." – My strength comes from the Lord. The Lord is my rock, he cannot be shaken.

My squadmate Heather brought a word to the squad this week, God lead her Joshua.
-Joshua 1:3 " I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses."
-Joshua 1:5 "No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, So I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you."
-Joshua 1:6 " Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I will to their forefathers to give them."

-Just as God commands Joshua to lead the Israelites across the Jordan to the promised land, he commands me to lead as a man of Christ with strength and courage. To bring the hungry and lost hearts in the world to an inheritance unlike any other, life and heaven through Christ Jesus. Every step I place my feet on this journey he has paved a path for, he is always with me.

"Lord, take my heart, bend and break me, build me to the statue you see fit, the servant that desires your kingdom, set my heart ablaze for what breaks yours."
