So this morning I was sipping on an instant cappuccino
when the Lord blew me up.
And I have learned that when I am blown up,
I am meant to blow others up as well.
So you are the next victim.

God freaking loves you.
I know you hear that all the time… but really.
I have fallen for this too…
So easily we see that he loves us…
But we assume that he loves the world as a whole.
Not us personally.
It was a hard long journey to accept that he loves me personally.
We think that his face is turned away from us because he hates our sin.
We live in a fear.
A guilt.
We go to church because it’s the thing to do.
To keep the mask on right.
But we are entirely too fearful of our Savior to actually
pursue the relationship with him.
None of it makes sense.
God doesn’t make sense.
His grace doesn’t make sense.
His love makes no sense.
Jesus makes no sense.
I realize that.
It’s not made it make sense.
God didn’t make our brains to understand it.
If we could understand God…
We would be equal to him
And faith wouldn’t even be necessary…
Which is why we don’t understand it.
Dude the Lord doesn’t care about your junk.
Satan tells us that we are so sinful and that God doesn’t want us.
The Lord only sees your potential.
Although Satan tells you this…
God doesn’t see you as a
porn addict.
Or an adulterer.
Or a homosexual.
Or an alcoholic.
Or a druggy.
Or a liar.
Or a cheat.
Or the anorexic.
Or the ______. You fill it in.
Satan whispers these names in your ear…
and in return: you live in fear and hiding.
You don’t take these things to church with you because
Satan has also done work in church…
and given people judgemental hearts…
and so you pull down the mask when you
approach the “body of Christ.”
Honestly before this year I have never ever been real at church.
I put on the mask as well.
Dude the Lord doesn’t care.
He says “Forget the former things… do not dwell on the past.” (Isaiah 43:18)
HE DOESN’T CARE.
Jesus walked in earth and was tempted in every single way…
He knows.
He knows that satan is intense and throws stuff in our paths.
But the Lord just wants you to give it up…
and talk about it.
and get over it.
IT IS ALL SO TRIVIAL.
We think it’s so intense and we are the “worst sinner known to man”
when we have all been there.
We have all done these things.
We are all lost in a dark sick world.
Dude give it up.
He loves you because he loves you because he loves you.
It makes no sense.
There is no reason why he should love us.
Not one.
He should absolutely not love me.
But he does.
He whispers to me that my sins are as far as the east is from the west. (Psalm 103:12)
Yours is too.
He just wants you to give it up.
So dude… give it up.
It’s slightly conceited that we don’t think the Lord can deal with our sin.
What makes you think its so great and big?
It’s not.
Give it up.
I am going to give you a minor run down of some people in the Bible.

If you are living in hiding and running from the Lord…
The bible isn’t exciting.
So I will give you a rundown…
and pray that the Lord gives you a passion to read his word.
Okay so Paul wrote a ton of the chapters in the New Testament…
He actually used to mock beat and murder Christians.
Weird how the Lord appeared to him…
changed his life and Paul became the most radical Christ follower ever.
Then there’s David:
Who victoriously killed the giant Goliath when he was what 17 years old?
Proceeded to be King.
Although he was walking with the Lord…
He saw a pretty woman on her roof…
Called her over…
Slept with her…
Got her pregnant…
Murdered her husband to cover up his sin…
THE LORD FORGAVE HIM…
and still named him “A man after Gods on heart.”
Is that a joke?
The Lord appeared to Moses
and told him he was going to lead the Isrealites out of Egypt
and all Moses said was
“dude you have the wrong man.
I can’t speak easily.”
Moses stuttered and was insecure about it.
He couldn’t imagine leading hundreds of thousands of people
when he couldn’t even get his words out.
The Lord said dude who cares that you stutter
But since you are insecure get your brother Aaron to speak for you.
The Lord doesn’t care…He just wants us.
Abraham doubted God daily.
The Lord told Abraham that he was going to be the father of many nations.
For years and years Abraham was like “dude where’s my baby..
if i’m supposed to be the father of nations shouldn’t I have a son to carry it on?”
Abraham was 100 when Isaac was born.
Is that even humanly possible?
Mhm apparently.
The Lord is sovereign and does what he says.

Almost done with my rant but dude listen to this.
Just look in Matthew 1 at the lineage of Jesus.
Abraham was indeed father of many nations…
Abraham was indeed father of many nations…
They ended up being Jesus great great great (like 45 more greats) grandparents…
Rahab prostituted herself and had a baby and was in the line….
David and that pretty lady on the roofs baby was in the line….
if you study up on it…
The Lord took all of these psycho sinners…
blessed them and
Jesus ultimately came from the line of all these people.
Which ultimately saved us.
Which ultimately saved us.
So clearly, your sin isn’t too big for the Lord.
You have no excuse.
