Alright so here’s the deal.
We are working with SHE ministries.
We will be going out every other night or so.
Chillin with the girls who are basically enslaved by
Prostitution.
Tonight is the first night we will be going out.
(Thailand is 12 hours ahead of home.)
Please pray between 8am-1pm your time.
We will be hitting up the bars..
befriending them
Proclaiming freedom
in a subtle way of course.
in order to stay in the bars we must purchase something..
Naturally.
Coke, Sprite, Bottled water.
Each drink costs give or take $2.
That doesn’t sound like much
but it adds up quick when we hit up 4-5 bars a night.
I have been frustrated at this idea but
the Lord has made me get over myself.
I don’t want to spend 8-10 bucks a night buying sodas.
But whatever I am called to do I will do it.
If by purchasing these drinks a girl gets out of her chains…
I’m all in.
We have the opportunity to possibly take the girls to lunch during the day.
or meet up for coffee to blow them up with HOPE.
This will allow us the chance to talk more about physical “freedom”
but also Freedom in Christ.
It is culturally expected and polite to pay if I am the one who has asked her.
This adds up quick but I don’t want such brilliant ministry opportunity
to bring upon guilt of spending another chunk of change.
I’m praying that many of you feel called to support these future run ins with
the Lords daughters.
I am not a fan of asking for money
BUT I know the Lord will provide if I do my part….
I am praying that the Lord will provide around $200
for the drinks / lunches / coffees with the least of these.
Even if it’s just a few bucks you’re a baller.
