I apologize for the lack of blogs this month. As I said in my first update, ministry has looked quite different than last month. Transition was hard for me because leaving our last contacts was very difficult. But Laredo has grown on me! I am really sad that we have to leave this Saturday already. God has done some powerful things in my team and in the church we are working with. The town also seems visibly brighter and we have gotten the opportunity to pray for many strangers in the city.

The most joyful man I had the pleasure of meeting was Cesar, who is paralyzed from the waist down. I felt the Spirit of God as soon as we walked into his room. He has been paralyzed at least a year and is still believing God for his healing. He probably encouraged us more than we did him. I talked about bubble gum and light in my last update. As we have invested in our contacts more this month, I have really seen how they have it. They have the life that this place needs and they are willing to spread it. If we have done nothing else this month, I pray that they are energized to keep going and keep fighting for their joy and love for this place.

Here are some pictures to sum up the month and let you know what we have been up to this month:

Our bathroom situation this month has been interesting. You flush it by pouring a bucket of water down it. Bucket showers occasionally happen and yes they are cold. It has been fun!

My brothers in Peru. Bryan and Cristiam took us everywhere and did ministry with us all month. Love them both alot.

Inviting children in Laredo to the Saturday night service and/or the Sunday morning service. We helped make special invitations to hand out and everything.

Playing soccer, volleyball or basketball at 9pm with the youth. Such a great way to build relationship and love on these people….and let them kick our butts in all sports. haha

Ginny and me with our new friend in the park. We spent many afternoons worshipping and practicing our skit in the park with lots of locals around.

We threw a prom night for my team leader, Kristen's< birthday. It was the best prom ever!

Praying in the park with a Pastor from Trujillo. He said that as he walked by us singing, he sensed the Spirit of God in us. Love how we can worship in One Spirit

worship in the park

Youth night every Saturday at 8 pm. This was one of my favorite parts of the week. Playing games, worshipping and listening to the Word with these kids was so great.

Thank you for keeping up with my adventures! We head to Bolivia soon and I cant believe it is already month 3. God is so good and constant.
