Alright so let me get to a couple of the main reasons I’m moving to Michigan. Obviously, I’m getting a great chance to continue my ministry with the World Race. It’s something I’m extremely excited about and confident I’m called to do.
But I’ll also get a chance to continue this community living thing I’m
doing on the race. I’m going to move in with our team coaches,
Michael and Kathy Hindes, and just do life with them. It’s a great
discipleship opportunity – to learn about how to walk this life
of faith out as a husband and father. And to be honest, Michael is really one of the few Christian men I can follow. We’ve got a lot of the same type of background and bottom line is – he’s upfront, real and raw, things I love.

Now, the other reason I’m moving to Michigan is I’m getting married.

HA! I’m sure that’s gotta catch a lot of ya’ll by surprise! We are not engaged yet. I have to get home first, BUT I’m confident she’ll say yes:)
The Lord has been doing some amazing things in our lives and he’s been bringing us together for quite some time now. And we can both benefit hugely from Michael and Kathy who have been married 27 years. They’ve been through a lot of things in full-time ministry as a couple. And that’s the life God has called Ericka and I to – full-time ministry.
Now once Ericka and I are married of course we’ll find our own place in Port Huron. I’m sure the last thing Michael and Kathy want is some newly weds up in their house.

No, for real though, Ericka is already living on support and working at the AIM headquarters in Georgia. She’s got a huge passion for orphans and those that can’t fight for themselves. That’s what she does – raises money and awareness for orphans all over the world. She’ll still get to continue that work in Michigan. (She’s also planning to move there in January and will be living in community with some of the World Race girls.)
God told me we can do more for the Kingdom together than we ever could apart. I’m excited about this next season of my life. So please, if you feel led to give just click on the
