Hey folks, greetings from Thailand, I want to take a minute and catch ya’ll up on what’s been going on in my ministry these past couple weeks.
The last time I posted I was on a scouting mission in Northern India. I got a chance to meet a wonderful man of God, Brian, who will make a great world race contact in the future. This man is a church planting machine.
After that I flew up to Kathmandu, Nepal to meet with Pastor Gophal Adhikari. Not only is he the pastor of his local church, but he’s also been a part of planting nearly 20 more. Gophal started a bible school and he runs his own publishing company that translates Christian books into the Nepali language.
Hanging out with the students I had a chance to teach at a Bible school in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Next year at this time there will be four squads in the field – that’s nearly 250 world racers in the nations. And we need more contacts – more opportunities to share God’s love. That’s the whole reason I was asked to get out and find some new connections. We want to open up more Kingdom opportunities and find other missionaries in the field with our vision that we can serve. I’ll talk more about this in my next blog.
But for now, I’m back in Thailand debriefing with my squad on the island of Koh Samet. I’m also going to get the opportunity to help debrief the July team as well. We’ve been in the field for eight months now, so it’ll be cool to see the July team, which is still new to the race.
Then it’s off to do ministry in Northern Thailand – which is something I’ve been waiting for all year! I’ll be right back in the same villages with the same wonderful people I was with last year. We had such a blast last August! Ray Ward, our contact, is such an awesome guy to be with. He has such passion for worship and for the people he ministers to. Plus he baptized me in a Thai river.
As far as ministry, we’ll be doing some remodeling work on a local church as well as some evangelism in Buddhist schools. I hear we’ll also get a chance to work in the Burmese refugee camps along the Thai border.
See you soon brother!
Please continue to keep us in your prayers:)
