The first thing I said to Seth Barnes the day I got home was, “It all feels like a dream. It feels like I never left.” And the thing is, I was only gone four months, not the full eleven. Either way, I thought it was just jetlag jacking with me, but still days later, I feel the same way. And I thought I was the only one until some of the other racers started posting blogs. Then Alissa sent me a couple links where I saw other folks discussing the same feelings. So, it’s nice to know I’m not alone in this.
Anyway, I just wanted to throw this verse out there to ya’ll. I know for me, I gotta fight to keep the enemy from stealing this amazing gift the Lord has given me. The main way I do that is thru lots of writing. Plus, I also plan to get away in the woods for a few days. It’s been an incredible four months and the Lord has poured so many seeds over my heart, I just wanna make sure as many as possible take root and don’t get scooped up by the devil.
By the way, GO HOGS! How ’bout that win over the number one team in the land!!! I miss ya’ll so much!
