Something BEAUTIFUL happened at training camp…
Despite having my flight delayed…
My tent being set up at night…
Being immersed in a flood of strangers…
Jesus did something in my heart…
He blossomed the fruit of Encouragement in my inner being…
To speak words of affirmation and love to my fellow squad mates and leaders…
It came so naturally…
I would sense it in my heart to speak truths in their life…
I sincerely seen the beauty in their surrender…
Allow me to be open with you…
I was never the person who encourage people like I did at training camp…
It wasn't my nature just to put my arm around someone and bodily speak life into them…
I was shocked how easily and natural it came to me…
It wasn't forced…
I shared this with Amanda (girl on my squad)…
The last night together before heading back home…
She said something along these lines,
"What if the encouraging Ruby is the real Ruby, and the other stuff is a lie"…
That statement impacted my heart so hard…
What is it that God has blossomed in your life?
