Let me give you a financial update. To date I have $4,700
raised for this World Race. I need $10,600 by June 1. That means I need $5,900
in about 10 days. I cannot tell you just how crucial your financial support is
for me. I am in deep gratitude for your support thus far. The name of Jesus has
been spread to many people who wouldn’t have heard if you had not been
obedient. Please help me in raising this money, by telling your family,
friends, roommates, co-workers, and any one else. Twenty dollars goes a long
way, and I am asking you for all the help you can give me. Thank you again for
the support and time you have given thus far. Every penny has eternal worth.
God bless as you continue to give. Please remember, that my heart in doing this
is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, not for a year of traveling and living
high off the hog (yeah right, you should see our living conditions), but I am
being intentional in obedience, learning tons, and sacrificing a lot. At times,
I am tired because I have been on the field since September, and I know the
easiest thing would be to go home, but that would be disobedience. Also, please
keep me in your prayers as I most likely will not be able to attend my brothers
wedding this summer (not to mention a family reunion, my grandpa’s 80th
birthday, my other brother on home for leave from Iraq in the same weekend),
and it is going to be really hard for me.
