It has been an amazing 4 months serving with my wonderful team and as all things, my time with them has come to an end. At debrief, two of our team leaders were raised up as Squad Leader (Go Stepth and Julia) and their teams were split up along with the rest of us. It was coming and we all new it.
This video is our last adventure in Laos. But before you watch it I would like to say goodbye to my wonderful Mosaic family.
Amy: Is the sunshine of our family. Her laughter brightens up moods and fills rooms. She has a giving heart of 1,000 people and always is quick to jump and help or serve in one way or another. She always puts others needs before her. She has an amazing singing voice and when she plays the uke and sings, gosh time stops. Her knowledge of the Word of God is inspiring and encouraging. She loves all things cute and small and when she laughs she has the tendency not to breath and sometimes pass out. She has a plethora of knowledge when it comes to natural remedies. She is just a bundle of joy and I have been so blessed to have been part of her journey. She has matured and gained a newfound confidence and I am so excited to see how her journey continues. Ams, I love you so much and thank you for being you 🙂
Janet: She is a confident and powerful woman after Gods heart. She is passionate about Him and when she prays, wow, better watch out!! Her heart for others is just as big as her love for all things related to the moon. She is very thoughtful and inquisitive. When she sees you, SHE SEES YOU!! all of you. Her visions from the Holy Spirit are on point and shes always looking for ways to commune with Papa. She loves Texas and is proud to be a Texan as well as Mexican. She is a free spirit and she doesn't care if no one agrees or like her. Shes fierce that way 🙂 Janet, gracias por todo lo que me has ensenado. Mi ensenado mucho. Te amo.
Chris: became like my cute little brother. And the growth he has done since we launched has been incredible. He started off as not talking very loudly or being confident enough but now he has found his voice and his confidence. It was a pleasure seeing him open up to the rest of us, and also taking on leadership positions when needed. His heart for Papa is very evident in that his always reading a book on how to grow spiritually or reading his bible. He treated all of us girls with respect and was ready to protect us when needed. He enjoys having one on ones and really getting to know how us. He loves music and brought a jimbai on the Race. Chris, thank you so much for being you and for always pressing in and challenging me to do the same. Love ya!
Jenny: At first, we didnt get along due to my lack of trust but this girl pursued me and made me know that she wasn't going anywhere or giving up and thus after a rocky start, we've become friends that will last a lifetime. She has a fighters spirit and is so passionate about Papa. When she prays, she moves mountains. Shes been through so much loss in her family and shes going after Papa with everything she has. She has a servants heart, always catering to someone in one way or another. She is a servant-leader. She knows who she is in Christ and she always reminds us of that. she loves to laugh and try to new things like Bubble tea 🙂 She is full of life. Jenny, thank you for not giving up on me when i was ready to give up on myself. Thank you for emphasing who I am in Christ over and over agian. I love you 🙂
Tai or Tai-Tai as I call her: She is a powerhouse. She loves music and busting a move. She is honest and speaks her mind and she is not afraid to say no. She has a tender heart and seeks after Papa with all of it. One of her gifts is tears and she has used those tears for the Kingdom in more than one way. She is full of wisdom and helps the rest of us see a different perspective. She LOVES sushi and always finds a store to satisfy her craving. She does not like chocolate or Bubble tea (its was our teams favorite drink) She is a planner and has learned to go with the flow but has always kept us on schedule (when there was one) or accountable. And she loves HUGS and to cuddle. Tai-Tai, I love you and thank you so much for all your hugs, cuddle and words of wisdom imparted on me.
And last but not least our fearless leader who led us for 4 months, Jeremy: This guy is the definition of a man after God's own heart. He knows his a son and he claims it everyday. His honesty is refreshing and when he speaks, you know that Papa is with him. He is a goofball and loves being goofy and telling jokes. He didnt take anything seriously but when he did, he meant business. I didnt know what to make of him at first but slowly I learned to see him through Papas eyes, and a friendship began. He is always calm and I've only since him upset one time and that was when we had a really tough conversation. He loves soaking and doing amad. His favorite color is blue and he hates monkeys. When he worships, he dances like a little prima ballerina, its cute actually 🙂 He has a heart for the Asian people and its evident when he talke to complete strangers asking them if its ok for him to pray for them. He definitely has boldness and a confidence that I like to call a God-fidence. He has challenged us time and time again to press in, to draw near and to run to Papa. Jer, thanks for everything you have done and for your patience in putting up with me. You are awesome. Love ya.
