Hello friends and family,

It’s been a while since I have been here; I hope that you haven’t forgotten me.

Happy New Year!!!

Is it too late to wish you a happy new year? Please forgive my lateness in doing so. You know those people who make New Year resolutions at the beginning of the year and actually keep them; well I am not one of them. At the end of last year, I had many resolutions. I was going to blog daily, I was going to learn Korean (I have actually been trying to do this for a while…). I was going to work out and if possible I was going to do one those 100 days (or X days) challenges. So far, I have not learned Korean; I have not even blogged once, let alone do a challenge.

Well I am here today because I sort of want to change that. I want to challenge myself and maybe, possibly you. I am here because I want to start a prayer challenge.

I have had many reasons to start a challenge, but honestly none of them is as important as the world race. By now you should know about the world race, I’ve only been talking about it for about it for the last 5 months. Just in case you don’t know, I’ll tell you. Last year I was accepted to go on a mission trip with the world race. It’s a mission trip to 11 countries in 11 months and I GET TO BE A PART OF IT. What?!?!?! Yes! We leave at the end of June and come back next year in May.

In the midst of the excitement, the fear and everything else, I know that the only way for this to work is if God is in the center. So how else would I put God at the Center? PRAYERS… EVERYDAY…

I know praying for or with someone, every day sounds a little intense. Praying every day sounds a little intense, and sometimes you just don’t know what to pray for. But let me reassure you, it doesn’t have to be an intense prayer session. You don’t have to spend hours on your knees. God knows each and every one of your hearts. I think that if you’re sincere in your prayers, the words will come. Still don’t know what to say?

“When you don’t know what to say, just say Jesus There is power in the name, The name of Jesus  If the words won’t come, ’cause you’re too afraid to pray, Just say Jesus.”

~7eventh Time Down~

With that said, over the next 45 days, I am starting a prayer challenge. I would like to invite each and every one of you to join me, YES YOU. I will be praying for several things throughout the challenge. Most of it I don’t know what it is yet, but I believe that God will reveal his heart to me throughout this challenge. For the moment, I know that I will be praying God to help me go on the world race and for financial support. I will be praying for my teammates, for safety during our travels and for team unity. I will be praying for the people we are going to minister to, that they would have an open heart to receive what God is going to impart to them. Most importantly, I will be praying for a total surrender on our part so that God may use us as He sees fit.

Above are the things I am going to pray for, but YOU will have a completely different list. Maybe you’ll pray for your family, maybe you’ll pray for a country. I don’t know what you need to pray for, but I am hoping for a lot by the end of this challenge. I am hoping that we’d develop a habit of praying every day, that we’d fully trust God and His promises and that we’d have many praise reports. I am not telling you to join me, but I am encouraging you to, I am inviting you to start this journey with me. If you did join me and you wanted to pray for me please pray these simple words “God/Jesus, please help Rounine go on the race”. If there is something you’d like me to pray for you about, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
