Today I was sitting at home wondering and praying for an answer to the question that had been lingering in my head for months now, “Why Me?”. Why did God open up this door for me to take a gap year? Why did He tell me to go? I do not have a solid answer to these questions. Why would he choose me? a broken sinner with an unpleasant past. I decided to read about the 12 apostles and I came across the fact that all of the men Jesus decided to use to spread his word, were all flawed in their own way. Jesus picked each of his 12 disciples so that he could use them for their specific talents and flaws. I have come to the conclusion that God has picked me to do this trip because I am far from perfect, and he has a specific reason he wants me overseas telling people about Him. He also has reasons for why He puts us all in certain situations in life, we just have to remind ourselves that Gods got it. I know He will show me why he chose me to embark on the world race, I know He’s got it.
