Hey guys! My name is Ross Van Gorder. I love camping, music, and the outdoors. I have a passion for helping out those in need, and I love meeting new people.
Jesus is my main man. I love glorifying him through service and I especially have a passion for helping the homeless. I believe God has pointed me towards helping out the less fortunate for a reason; He is leading me towards working in ministry. I gave my life to Christ this past summer while preparing to embark on my mission trip to El Salvador. Since that day, I have felt His calling for me to be his disciple (whether that was in my hometown or overseas). He has been pushing me towards doing His work.
I am so excited to have this opportunity to serve Him for nine months! If you would have told me two years ago that I was going to go on a nine month long mission trip after I graduated, I would have called you crazy. God has taken the life I used to live and done a full 180 with it for the better. I am so unbelievably grateful for this opportunity to go share the gospel and help out those in need in Guatemala, Lesotho and Cambodia.
