This is still my blog. I'm still alive. God is still GOOD. Drop the mic and walk away form the stage….Haha, no I can't do that to everyone who read my first blog, and was like what the heck you didn't tell us anything.

Sooo, let me start from the beginning. For those of you who just tuned from another channel in I am in Santa Cruz, Quiche, Guatemala at a hospital dormitory living out of a tent. Yeah in that picture mine is the the blue spec way in the back. I went from a loft apartment to camping for the next year. In order to have the opportunity to share Christ and some hope with people all over the world. Also it rains pretty much every day, and were at a 7,000 ft elevation here. This warm blooded southern boy is freezing his butt off at night, and trying to catch some oxygen during the day lol. With all of that said, God has been doing His thing. However, It has not been through those miracles so many Christians have experienced on trips like this. It's been through that small still voice, random events that happen for our blessings, and through real inner working throughout the entire squad.

To keep with the cold theme and God working quietly. The night before I left for launch I had a good friend who is not a believer in Christ give me his base layers from his time in the military. Yes God used you for that blessing. Period, no other way to explain it, I don't have a single cold weather country on this trip except for Nepal in February, why would I pack any cold weather clothes?

Now I'll transition into a more recent thing. First off, I was a good soccer player growing up, who knew that God would use that as a ministry platform? Well He did, there is a soccer field that men come to play at on our complex, so I played with them. After I was introduced to one of them who speaks some English and liked how I played we talked about playing the next week. Well, huh God had different plans. That same man regularly attends the same church we attended that first Sunday. We got to talking again, and he along with all the other soccer players were completely astonished that 56 Americans would abandon our lives to come work for them. In a country of people who they said don't even work for themselves. So he and his wonderful wife have blessed myself and a few others with some coffee that he grows and some authentic Guatemalan food.

So yes this trip isn't just a cruise around foreign countries spiting Christ onto people. Its a fight, a struggle, and a constant battle to keep Him first in all that I do. No matter what starting point you might have, according to my Mortal Combat reference in the title, God provides a round 2 so now its just up to the person to fight. Fight for Christ, and fight to bless those around you with his love and know that He will do this rest.

And there you have it folks, Ross Anderson has finally posted a real blog. I love each and everyone of you who read this and will be praying for a clear and strong Christ centered future for you. K, Bye!
