I’m Rosie to most, Rose to some. I’m twenty-four years old, I grew up in the suburbs of Houston, Texas, and I say y’all more than I’m willing to admit.

The University of Texas at Austin (#hookemhorns) is my alma mater. I graduated in May 2014 with a degree in civil engineering. Give me math homework any day of the week. After graduation, I began a career as a field engineer in the oil and gas industry. A year later and some unforeseen circumstances, I quit my job and here I am!

I grew up in the Catholic Church and I’m extremely close to my family. I am forever grateful for the love and support of my incredible parents and their ability to trust me, even when that means letting go of their little girl. As the youngest of three, I cherish the memories growing up with older brothers (and appreciate them for my love of sports).

I’m a half glass full personality, I remember numbers, not names, and I’m most often oblivious to sarcasm. A few of my favorites include: the outdoors + running + reading + bucket lists + card games + roller blading + sunflowers. I collect coffee mugs, I’m a breakfast enthusiast, and my hammock is my happy place. Sunrises and sunsets might as well be my love language, along with hand written letters from dear friends.
