This Saturday May 18th until May 24th I will be in Georgia at the World Race training camp. Here I will meet my teammates from all over the United States for the first time. I will also get to meet the leaders of The World Race who have been helping me get ready. The camp will be similar to most camps, we will sing songs, have activities, team building games, campfires, meeting new friends and staying up late laughing. At camp we get the do's and dont's about being a missionary all around the world. As I prep for the race I will be eating foods from all around the world. I will be staying in my tent and carrying everything in my backpack. We will have outside showers or bucket showers, if any. My days will be spent growing closer to God by: worship, prayer, quite time and being with other Christ followers.

At camp I will get more details as to who my eight team mates will be. As of right now there are 55 members on my squad, eight of those will be my team mates. I will also receive the date of my trip departure, it will be sometime in July. It is crazy to think about a year ago I signed up to leave in July and would tell people I do not leave for a year, now it is just around the corner! I am so excited to travel and share the good news!

(sorry I do not know how to flip it)

All packed for training camp.
