Think back to a time as a child when you sat and daydreamed.

Maybe you dreamt dreams that adults encouraged at that age but once you’re an adult tell you it must cease.  What happened to those dreams?

Did they die? Or did life just happen and every ounce of you goes into living “life”?

God is truly a big dreamer and he invites us to participate in his dreams. He entrusts us with them.

In the movie UP Carl and Ellie connect at a young age and both are big dreamers. They get married and life happens, and each time they try to save up or live out their dreams but something happens to make it too difficult to do.

And it makes me realize that life can slip away without its day to day demands and we never live out our dreams.

The little girl in the movie named Ellie dreams to go to South America and see Paradise Falls. She ends up dying and leaving her husband behind without ever living out her dream.

This life is but a vapor. We are here today and gone tomorrow. And the world as we now it is changing.

I’m asking God to take my life and do the impossible, so that all of my life may bring glory to Him. Because all of what I do will be evidence that God is the God of the impossible who desires to use us.

What’s your Paradise Falls? It’s never too late or too early to ask God to give you His dreams and to use your life for His Kingdom.
