This
month we are working along side a church in Phnom Phen called New
Life Fellowship. They are involved in several ministries in and
around the city. They have a school, a medical outreach, a children
at risk program, outreach programs for the surrounding villages, an
outreach program for the kids in the slums and thats just naming a
few. They have over 90 staff and still have many things for us to
come in and help with.
We
are working with another team this month so there’s 13 of us total.
We’ve all been spread out to the different ministries working on
different projects. Some of things we’re helping with are, making new
promo videos for a few of their ministries, gathering information to
update their website, some construction type stuff in the sanctuary,
making curtains for some of the guest houses and I personally am
helping in the medical department. Mostly what I’m doing is going
through their patient follow up charts and proof reading/editing
them. It’s been kind of nice doing something I’ve actually had some
experience in doing before.

Like in Haiti I don’t feel like I’ve built to many relationships with the locals. I’m glad though, that we were able to take some of the load off those who are doing full-time ministry here because they do have those relationships.
