Dear Family and Friends,

Hey everybody, I hope this letter finds you all doing well. I just wanted to give you a brief update on what’s been going on in my life. I’ve just finished up with the internship at Ecola Bible School, which has been absolutely amazing. God has taught me so much during my time here. During my student year I learned a lot about God and really made my faith my own. This last year, my intern year, God has been teaching me more and more how to surrender my life to Him. In this I mean everything, my desires, my emotions, my opinions, my will; He is transforming me into what He wants me to be and changing my desires to those that are of Him.

God has placed in my heart the desire to serve Him by going out and serving others. The opportunity has arisen for me to do just that. I have applied and have been accepted to spend next year (Jan 1, 2009 – Nov. 15, 2009) traveling around the world with about 60 others going to a different country each month and serving Him in those places. This program is through Adventures in Missions and is called the World Race. We will be working with missionaries who are already established in each place, building houses, working in schools and orphanages and doing whatever is needed. There are so many people out there that need to hear the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the best ways to share it is by letting Him shine through us by loving them and showing them we care about their physical and emotional needs.

I am so incredibly thankful for this opportunity that God has placed before me. I would be greatly blessed if you could partner in ministry with me this next year. I’m going to need a lot of prayer and some financial support. I am specifically asking for five people to commit to pray for me each day until I return. Also, I must raise $1455.00 for each month I stay to cover travel and living expenses for this World Race Mission for a total of $16,000.00 for the entire eleven months. A number of you may be in a position to financially contribute to my support. I know I can trust Him to provide all that’s needed for this great adventure. Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you.

I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope, which invites you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures in Missions. You may write “appealed by” and my name in the memo section of the check if you wish. All donations should be mailed to Adventures in Missions, P.O. Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. Including the enclosed card will provide AIM with all necessary information. Adventures in Missions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) non- profit organization. Donors will receive receipts for their gifts with the understanding that the disbursement of those gifts lies completely at the discretion of Adventures in Missions and that the gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable, per IRS regulations. Gifts may be tax deductible; please consult your tax advisor.

I am very excited about how God is going to use me and for what He will teach me through my experience. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve but to you as well. My desire is to go as your representative of Jesus Christ. I hope you will prayerfully consider being part of this ministry. Thank you so much!

Blessings,

Robyn Bailey
