(written on 1/5/12 after being sent home for lack of funds)

Yesterday around 5am, after already being awake for nearly an entire 2 days, I was forced to hug 'n send-off from the airport 51 people that've become like family to me over the last few months! It was prob. one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but at the same time, wasn't quite as overwhelming as I initially thought it would be.

SO many of them have impacted my life in such an incredible, mind-boggling way! They are ALL a part of my B-Squad family no matter where we are now, where we'll go in the future, or where we've been in the past!!! I love them all so much and want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for the last 3 months. So many of them poured into my life and built me up more times than I can count as well as encouraged me / stood by me when I released some things I never realized were holding me back. I don't know what in the world I would've done without them standing by my side through it all! My team Ignite was there for me in ways nobody else could be and this journey wouldn't have been the same without them. I fully believe that everything happens for a reason and that God places people and situations in our lives for a purpose. Our team definitely went through an awful lot of things together over the last 3 months, but I can see there was fruit from our labor. We were all placed on that team for a reason, even though many of us didn't always understand why… we always knew He had a plan for it!

I just got home and even reminiscing with all of you before I left, I can definitely see a lot of growth and meaning behind all that we've been through together. We had a lot of good times, hard times, & craziness… but we all did it together like the family we became required of us. Nobody else can fully understand how far we came and how much we pushed each other onto the path of greatness because they weren't standing there in our shoes. Some of my favorite memories as a team occurred towards the very end with lots of laughs, inside jokes, randomness, and fun! That's just how we do, I guess… I'm super glad that as I'm entering a new phase of my life, as are all of you, our team never went passed a point in which I was there to be involved. Ignite is made up of the 6 of us and no one else… except sometimes with our honorary members included as well… haha! My life will never be the same after the arrival of the B-Squad and I'm glad! Overall, it's been a crazy ride, but an amazing 3 months!
