These last 3 months, I´ve been on a crazy-awesome, ever-changing, whirlwind of an adventure to find out more about who the Lord says I am and what He wants for my life. He´s brought an incredible group of people into my life that almost instantly became an extension of my family… good, bad, happy, sad, scary, unexpected, hilarious, and everything in between has been faced and conqured together!
The first 3 months, I was blessed to be a part of an awesome group of people in a crazy family called Ignite. As I sit here and type this myself and Vivian, one of those family members, is at risk of going home in the next few days because of a lack of funds. Two other B-squad sisters (Nikki & Courtney) are in the same boat as us right now. Í´m writing this blog with the hope and belief that our prayers will be answered and ALL of our financial needs will be met in the next day or so as needed… particularly considering that our last financial deadline came and went 2 days ago and the squad leaves early tmr morning for a long few days of travel to reach our next destination of this race. The last 24 hours have brought an incredible amount of change to our lives, our squad, our leadership, and our teams. I am now a part of incredible family of girls that I hope and plan to join further than the next 1-2 days. I absolutely NEED YOUR HELP in order to make that happen! Regardless of who is reading this blog right now, I am talking to you! You have an impact in our ministry as a squad and my personal ministry on this journey. I can´t do it without your help and I hope/pray that if you can help in anyway whatsoever that you answer God´s call to action. The last few months have brought SO MUCH growth, change, joy, peace, help, hope, and healing to so many lives already. I´ve been so blessed to have been part of a team that´s willing to fight for each other and love on each other regardless of differences and various situations that we have face. I was so blessed to be part of a group in which people weren´t afraid to push each other further and lift each other up more than I ever imagined possible. I´m so blessed to be a part of a squad that never gives up on each other, but rather is ALWAYS there whenever there is a need, whether it be to pray… to talk… to offer a smile and great big hug… just to sit and listen… to grab some tissues and remind you that everything will be okay regardless of the outcome… to lend a shoulder to cry on… to crack a joke to lighten the mood… or to challenge you to have hard conversations, dig deeper than you ever thought possible, dream bigger dreams than most could ever imagine and accomplish those dreams without doubts, etc. God´s never giving up on us and we´ll never give up on each other… we´re a family that prays together and a family that fights for each other… ALWAYS
My family is my life and B-squad is now a part of that family… fight for them and fight for me… we need you now more than ever before! I still need a few thousand dollars to show up in my account… like yestrday… help me out before it´s too late… Í know God has great plans for me/us regardless of what happens in the next few days, but i definitely don´t feel ready to go home yet. I don´t think it´s the right time and YOU can help my prayers are answered with every tax-deductable dollar you place in my account.
