Whenever I take a step back to think about all that has happened and all that is going on, I can barely believe there's been so much both internally and externally that's been done already. It's crazy to think about all that has happened on this trip already as well as all that is potentially going to happen over the next several months. Everyone has grown so much! I've been able to release so many things that (unbeknownst to me) have been built up for years as well as declare positive things over my life and the lives of others! Thanks be to God for that! I've been able to build relationships with some incredible people throughout central america, on my team/squad, and others that we've met along the way.

This is the first time in my life that I've had to be away from home for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. The entire b-squad was able to be together last month in Honduras and my teammate Erica prepared an incredible feast for 60+ people. This Christmas is fast-approaching (despite it being super warm and me being far away from home) and teams Ignite & Kaleo need to get to planning more for the holidays. It's just the 12 of us here working at an orphanage on survivor island in Lake Nicaragua this month. Some people are working in the garden, some people do hay runs and manual labor, some people help prepare our food in the kitchen, and others have helped me watch the younger kids that are here. Sometimes I have things to do all day and most times (so far) I've had much of the afternoons off. Anywhere on the water is super peaceful and makes me happier than words can express. Particularly considering all the growth and reflection that's already happened this month, I know for a fact that God has these 2 teams here away from most people/things/regular internet access for a reason and I'm incredibly thankful to have this gorgeous view in my backyard while I reflect.

I'm sure I can speak for the entire b-squad when I say to those back home that we love you, miss you, and wish we could be home for the holidays. However, we also know that we're exactly where we're supposed to be right now and so excited to see what all is to come. We're safe, happy, fulfilling God's plan for our lives, and love you all so much! We're not on this journey alone… we take you in our hearts wherever we go! God bless you all! Merry Christmas!

My only Christmas & birthday wish list item this year is to be fully funded for this trip. I still have 2 deadlines to make and desperately need your help to make that happen. I need at least $4,300 by Jan. 1st! If you would like to partner with me in this ministry journey, you can click the "support me" tab on the left side of this blog. Feel free to leave any questions, comments, or concerns here or in my e-mail inbox and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. Internet is super limited again this month, but I promise I'll get back to you asap! Also, if you haven't already, click the "subscribe" button to receive e-mail as my blog gets updated throughout the year. Thanks guys!
