Helping ppl, loving ppl, spreading the good news of Christ, etc. isn't a responsibility to be checked off some sort of "Christianly-duty list" it's supposed to be a core part of who we are and just a natural part of the way we live. I've both heard stories and personally witnessed non-believers looking towards hypocrites within church settings as a reason to not go to church, not be spiritual/religious, and not give their lives over to God. If ppl can't tell what you believe by the way you live ur life, than something is seriously wrong. Nobody is perfect by any means, myself definiteIy included, but we as Christians are called to be set apart! I came across the following youtube video sometime last week, and I think it's a good wake-up call to a lot of ppl. Enjoy!

Also, If you haven't already, please check out the last blog I wrote as this one ties into the end of that one. A lot of things I talk about in the previous blog have to do with the disconnect btw the mindsets of a hopeful, joyful believer and that of a non-believer without any hope at all – particularly in rough times and trials. I talked a lot about some of the worry-filled reactions and thoughts about global missions compared to staying w/in a small town church that's already long established despite a call to go and spread the good news among the nations.
