I came across the video below a couple nights ago and thought I would share. I think she spoke very well and had a lot of good points. It's Sarah Kay reciting some of her spoken word poetry, the first of which is called "If I Have A Daughter". She then talks about how she began doing it, why she enjoys it so much, and how everyone has something worth saying… they just have to find their voice I think a big part of the World Race journey includes trying to give a voice to the voiceless, hope to the hopeless, and help to the helpless. Nothing but hatred should be silenced! It's extremely sad that right seems like a near unreachable luxury for many across the globe. I believe it's our job to not only be the hands and feet of Christ, but in doing so, also become the voices of the silenced.
