Hey everyone!  So assuming that you read my last blog post (and if you didn’t, then shame on you!), you know that in January, I’ll be moving to Gainesville, GA to participate in CGA with AIM.  Now it’s time for the blog post I know you’ve all been waiting for:  how you can help!  (Side note:  I promise to make these money posts few and far between.  Instead, I’ll write more interesting blog posts and slip in random comments about how I need your money.  Subliminal messaging for the win!)

So you probably know the drill by now:  there are two ways you can help.  First, I need your prayers.  Please pray for a smooth transition as I move to Gainesville in January.  Also, please pray for God to prepare my heart and mind for all that He will be doing during my year with CGA.  Finally, please pray for God to provide for all of my financial needs during my year with CGA.

Second, I need your financial support.  My position with CGA is support-raised, meaning I am fully dependent on your support for my income.  In order to participate with CGA, I need to raise $300 a month to help cover rent, utilities, food, transportation, and other financial needs.  If you want to support me in this way, there are two ways that you can do so.  You can either make a check payable to Adventures in Missions with “Robby Smith – CGA” in the memo line and then mail your check to Adventures in Missions P.O. Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470.  Or you can support me online by clicking the “Support me” link on the left hand panel of this blog.

I will also need to raise additional monthly support for other financial needs, including about $250 a month for student loans.  If you desire to support me in this way, please make a check payable to Robby Smith and mail your check to Robby Smith 306 Saltlick Trace Peachtree City, GA 30269.

Thanks for all the support that you have given me in the past, whether it was with your money, your prayers, your encouraging words or just by reading my blog.  Your support really does mean a lot to me!  Speaking of reading my blog, make sure that you’ve signed up for email updates to my blog so you can stay connected with all of the latest news in my life!  In the next few days, I’ll be writing a couple blogs on what God’s been teaching me lately so stay tuned for that!
