The one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation.

1 Corinthians 14:3

The World Race is pretty big on prophecy. It’s pretty normal to take opportunities simply to listen to what God wants to say to someone and speak to that person about it. I know that might sound kinda crazy, but it’s not. We’re not all sitting around with crystal balls looking to predict the future for people. Usually, it is just simply seeing a characteristic in someone and calling it out of them to encourage them to live in that way; other times, it’s simply a word of encouragement to someone; and yes, sometimes it does venture on the “weird” of knowing something about someone’s life that wouldn’t be normal to know, but that’s not the focus of this blog.

Anyways, at the Awakening, I received several words from people. I wanted to share a quick summary of those with you for a couple reasons. One, so you can hold me accountable on pursuing them. I believe that these words are true, but I also believe that I need to speak the truth of those words over myself to truly start living them. Two, so you can be praying for me about them. Pretty self-explanatory there. So without further adieu, here they are.

  • People will start following me in the stuff that I do. In other words, I don’t need to be afraid to lead.
  • One person saw me making a snow angel. Basically, the explanation was that I have a playful spirit. She said that I need to realize that this can be a form of leadership, and I don’t need to be afraid to be that playful person more often.
  • I need to be a strong man of God around the women in my life. Being this strong man will help heal wounds in their lives.
  • Have confidence.
  • I love to be first in stuff. This one was one of those “I don’t always act like it, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not who God made to be” type deals.
  • God is chiseling my heart to uncover who I already am.
  • I’m gonna bring words to my family.
  • God has already given me the scissors to cut any red tape that is stopping me from fully pursuing Him.
  • God has given me a room full of armor for every battle that I face.
