Just wanted to let y’all know of some great things that happened over this past weekend!

This past Friday night, a ton of awesome friends and people from church all came and helped organize piles and piles of stuff for a garage sale that took place on Saturday, and let me tell ya, there was A LOT of stuff that people so kindly donated. Even just Friday night got me feeling really thankful for all the people in my life that have supported me and are helping to make this trip possible. Saturday morning, a bunch of friends and volunteers showed up to make this garage sale happen. I had people spread out all over helping people that came in, and even some of my best friends standing on the side of the road dancing on a car to try and get people to come to the garage sale, it was awesome. The whole day I was in complete awe of how so many people could be so selfless in giving up their time and effort for me. God sure does know how to love me well. The day was long and tiring, but with everyones help, we managed to make a whole lot of money, bringing me $1,000 closer to my goal!!! God is so good y’all.

With that being said, I only have a little over $3,000 left to raise before I leave for this great adventure in September. My heart is filled to the brim with joy at how well this whole fundraising process has gone. God has continued to shower me with such great love and with the help of all of you I have almost made it to my goal of $12,500. Five months ago, I never thought I would be where I am in fundraising and I owe it all to you guys!! While I have almost reached my goal, I still have a lot of work to do to get that last bit of money I need for my trip, so I pray that if you feel so called to do so, that you consider helping support me financially! I can’t say it enough, but THANK YOU to all the people who have gotten me this far and have helped me along the way. God shows how great his love for me is through all of you and I am so incredibly thankful for that. Thank you for all of your prayers.

lots of love,
