After an amazing time in Swaziland, my team is preparing for our ALT (Ask The Lord) month. After MUCH prayer, we feel the Lord is calling us to Lesotho. After even more prayer, we feel the Lord is calling us to Mt. Moorosi. We do not have a set ministry or ministry contact. We do however have the favor of the Lord and a blessing with our housing arrangements. We have also added a member to our team, but only for the month of August. AIM decided they were not comfortable with our all girls team going to Lesotho by ourselves. This is understandable especially because no AIM team has been to Lesotho before. So we have Cameron Caviness from Koinonia joining us. We spent last month with him and his team and are looking forward to spending this next month with him and watching how the Lord works out His wonderful plan in our lives.
What we know about Lesotho and the place we are staying is it is very mountainous. 4×4 vehicles are necessary to go anywhere. No one from South Africa actually will take you across the border to Lesotho. It is cold, very cold, snowy cold and is below 0 at night. A winter jacket is REQUIRED. There is no electricity where we are staying, there is however gas stoves and fires .J And there are several villages close to where we will be staying. We don’t know if God will be keeping us in Mt. Moorosi our entire stay in Lesotho or if He will be asking us to move, but either way, we are listening closely, ready to move when He says or to set up camp where He says. Please continue to keep us in your prayers, and don’t worry if you don’t hear from us for a while, God is in complete control! Oh yes, we leave on August 1 for our journey to Lesotho!
