I am learning to
lay the relationships I develop down at the foot of Jesus knowing He loves His
people more than I can imagine and He feels their pain much more than I could
ever. I understand the Lord desires for us to love them and to show them
His love. Today was our last day with Sarith and Tree of Life ministry. We
will be working with another church of Tree of Life Ministry in the slums area our last week in Cambodia.
Today I gave my testimony and the message for the church service. This
was very difficult for me but I give God all the praises because He was the one
who said the people needed to hear this message and He gave me the strength
through my teammates and through the knowledge that He is always with me, to be
able to give the message. I pray the people who heard the message could
see truly how God can restore anyone to what He intended them to be. I
pray they realize that circumstance, that actions, that decisions, no matter
what they are, if we take them to God, He will bring forgiveness, restoration
and healing. I pray they saw the HOPE God has to offer.
I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans
for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope. Jeremiah 29:11
