Dear Family and Friends,

Hello to all of my brothers and sisters in Christ! How honored and humbled I am to have this opportunity to share with each of you what God is doing in my life! Our amazing father has blessed me this past year in countless ways! I have been blessed to be a part of an amazing Godly company for a year now and to be on the Women’s Ministry Council at church! I am leading a small group of women and He stretches me more and more! I was recently given the opportunity to partner with Adventures in Missions and the World Race. I have been chosen and formally committed to leaving in December 2008. World Race is an opportunity to travel to 11 different countries sharing the gospel of Christ with the lost, being the hands and the feet of our Creator, and watching the kingdom come alive with power! It is our opportunity as the called to pour our compassion and grace to those who do not know it. 

This is beyond humbling and overwhelming! That the Great I AM is entrusting me…Renee’….to serve Him by serving others…wow! My greatest desire, my passion, is to pour out on to others all that the Lord has put into me. I desire to return a new, more alive, more Christ like woman with a deeper and stronger passion to serve the Lord. My passion has been serving women and I have longed to serve in the nations afar. The Lord knows my hearts desires, as He knows yours, and I have learned to release those desires to Him and He will make those desires, those dreams come true! Three months before leaving on my trip I will be attending an intense training that will stretch me farther then I could imagine and bring me to the feet of the Lord in an amazing way. I will learn how to minister to those I come in contact with and I will learn how to share the gospel with my peers. Again, how amazing…the Lord will be using each one of us to win souls for Him!

I thank God that He has placed this opportunity in front of me and by faith I trust He will meet my every need. At this time there are two very important needs that must be fulfilled. I believe that through you, they will be fulfilled. Prayer and Financial support are my greatest needs at this time. I ask that you commit to praying for me and for my family as I step out to what I am being called to do. I also ask that you partner up with me and with the Lord to raise the financial support needed.  It is by Faith that I believe that this trip will be fully funded. One of the amazing parts of missions is that you depend solely on the Lord’s provisions. Adventures in Missions encourages us to allow the funding to come from God and God’s people. It is for this reason that I ask you to partner in prayer and in financial support. Please log on to reneeramirez.theworldrace.org to view my weekly and monthly blogs as well as to make a financial pledge, either monthly or a one time gift. This is my blog site and where you will be able to read all about what the Lord is doing while I’m gone. I will update every chance I get, of course being in 11 different countries, I can’t promise I’ll have too much internet access.
