This blog I will fill you in on a bit of information about me. You may not know me and wonder who I am so here it goes…..
Well I was born and raised in St.Catharines Ontario…good old Canada eh?? I was raised in a Christian home and brought up by loving parents. I have two brothers. One older and one younger. They are now married and living elsewhere. I have two nieces and am thrilled when I get to go home and visit them.
I moved away from home about 3 years ago to live in Edmonton Alberta. I moved here by myself not knowing anyone and haven’t regretted it since. I have found a good job, a good church community and good friends. I still miss my friends and family back home but am glad to be on my own and living my life independently.
I have finished school and now have my diploma in Social Service Work. I have worked in various group homes and women shelters. I now am working with families and children and it is very rewarding for me. It can be draining at times but the rewards are great. I have a love for children and helping them get through the hard times in their lives.
I am excited about where God is calling me and scared too. I am about to embark on a journey like no other. I can’t wait. I am excited to meet my team mates and become close to them on this journey.
