We have officially made it to Matamata, New Zealand. We got here at 5 in the morning- it’s around 4 in the afternoon now and I feel like I could crash for the rest of my life. Not really…but my poor little eyes and body are begging me to put them to bed. We were spoiled on Air New Zealand with about 100 movies to choose from and we were even able to make our own music play list (it only took me an hour to make the perfect one) which made sleep sound so stupid. My body has me to blame for depriving it of what it needed most. Woops. We are staying at a YWAM location at the moment and it is absolutely beautiful. Sarah and I went for a run after breakfast and there are just fields and fields of wildflowers and beautiful horses; I started to sing “once upon a dream” … and then reality set in and I almost got run over by a local, speedy gonzales, behind the wheel. Everything is great; tomorrow is adventure day and we are all so excited.
The only internet access we are getting for a bit is this time tight now to post one blog and send an email to our parents so I will try to update everyone later and post a picture of all the flowers- seriously they are everywhere and so pretty! There’s even an old bathtub just sitting in a field full of them!
