The second half of our month in Ghana was spent in a small fishing village right on the shore called Kokrobite.  We were there under an amazing man named Pastor Gabriel.  He took wonderful care of us while we were there.  During the day we would visit different schools in the area.  We would have the opportunity to share songs, do short dramas, and teach the word of God openly to all the children in the schools.  It was amazing for the word of God to be at the center of the school.  During the evenings we would be preaching at the revival services at Pastor Gabriel’s church.

We stayed at a small hotel right next to the beach.  We ended up staying in our tents because it was too hot to sleep inside.  But it was wonderful to be right near the ocean.  The amazing people that ran the hotel cooked all of our meals for us.  We had a lot of fish and tried several different traditional African dishes.
The last two weeks in Ghana were pretty good.  At the beginning of April we met back up with the rest of the squad in Accra.  We were all together for about three days and then we all left again for our ministry sites for Month 7.
