The
last night before we left La Cama we had the opportunity to have one last big
service. We actually had it at the
grounds of the new church building. It was the first service they have had down there. The men all set up tarps and chairs for
us to have it there. We also had
the opportunity to rent instruments to have a real worship set. They do not have the money to have the
instruments so it was so cool that we were able to bless them with that.

            We
led worship to start the service off and had people share their testimonies and
any words they felt led to share. My entire team was involved. Jordan was on drums, Lindsay on piano, Jory on bass, Tim on guitar, I
sang, Sage shared an amazing word, and Elizabeth translated for the evening. It was such an awesome feeling having
the whole team working and using their different gifts and talents. I loved being a part of it.

            After
we did our part, the community had their own band that played. They were so excited to have the
instruments and sound equipment. Their music was kind of a mixture of salsa and Caribbean style. It was awesome. The pastor shared some brief
words.

            We
all met back at Pastor Manuel’s house after for hot coffee. It was an amazing evening to just have
the last chance to worship and encourage that community. God has so much in store for La Cama
and I hope to one day be able to return when the church is finished.
