Los Frios

Team Manna did the whole traveling missionary thing this week. We hiked up a mountain to get to a town at the top of the mountain called “Los Frios”. Along our journey, we prayed for different people. At one point, we stopped at this woman’s house who was laying in bed very ill and getting ready to die. She didn’t move when we came in nor did she even notice.

When I walked into the house, I felt heaviness. I felt that there was some major oppression in that house. When we laid hands on her and started praying, the woman became very uncomfortable. She stared at us with empty eyes and tried to move herself away from our hands. Our prayers changed at that point. (We discussed that after we left) We started praying for salvation and truth, before she passed away. I prayed for whatever was holding her in that oppression to be cast away. We weren’t sure what all was going on with that woman, but I pray that she sees the light and the truth.

One of the next houses we visited was of a woman who started the Christian church in Los Frios. We felt God leading us there to give her encouragement and to pray for her ministry. She w2as very excited to see us and wanted to pray for us as well. She knew that God had answered her prayers. She knew that people from around the world were praying for Los Frios and the handful of Christians in the town.
