Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well! I wanted to write you to let you know about some new things that are going on in my life. As you may know, I will be graduating this April from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Biomedical Science. In my past 4 years here, I have become very involved in leadership with a Christian organization called Cru, and I am thrilled to share that God is now calling me to missions! I will serve as a missionary through an organization called Adventures in Missions, in their World Race program.
The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. Through adventure, ministry, community, and self-discovery, I hope to develop a more broken heart that propels me to act for God’s kingdom around the world. On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
I am so grateful for this opportunity that God has given me, and have every confidence that He will provide for my needs! I must raise $15,500 in order to go on the World Race, which covers all of my expenses on the field including travel, lodging, and food. Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. I am writing to you to ask if you would prayerfully consider partnering with me financially in my ministry. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donation. If 50 people pledge $25 a month for 12 months, I would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for my trip. I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope for your convenience.
