Coming into this month, I was beginning to be convicted about treating my body as the temple that it is. Who am I to put a limit on God’s plans for my life by not taking care of the temple He gave me? I want to be as healthy as possible so my body is able to do the work the Lord is calling me to for however long He calls me to do it. So, in an effort to start getting healthy, team W.O.W. has started going on team walk/jog/runs almost everyday . The Lord has blessed us with a safe and beautiful countryside to run in. I wanted to give you a small glimpse of what I get to look at as I strive to become healthier. Enjoy!

The beginning of our four mile adventure.

The beautiful mountains that we run alongside.

After running for 2 miles this is what we came to, so we decided to see what was on the other side of the grass wall. (If you look carefully you can see a little white line going up the wall…those are the stairs that I would soon come to despise.)

This picture does not do these 158 stairs justice. As I stared up at the task set before me after already doing more physical exercise than I have on the entire race thus far, I wanted to just turn around and head back. I thought there is no way I can make it up these stairs without my legs cramping up on me or passing out. However, I had amazing teammates who lovingly challenged me to continue on. As I climbed at a snails pace up the stairs all I heard was words of encouragement from each of them. Then before I knew it I turned around to see this behind me…

I made it to the top! How breathtaking is this view??? Looking down you can see just how steep those little stairs were, especially after a 2 mile jog/run. I feel beyond blessed to have amazing teammates who challenge and encourage me to grow in areas of my life that need change and growth. Thank you ladies of team W.O.W. (Women Of Workout…) for speaking words of life into me each and every day. Thank you for not allowing me to quit when things get hard! I love you all more than you know!

This is what I saw after making it to the top of the stairs….

Thank you brilliant Creator for giving us beautiful masterpieces like this to leave us in awe of You!

Beautiful Teammates!

The road back home…

SO beautiful!

This has been a month of blessings in more ways than one. Thank you Lord for lavishing me with your love everyday!
