Well over 24 hours of travel time later, we have safely arrived in Antigua, Guatemala!!! It feels so surreal to be back in the country that the Lord completely changed my heart in. It is quite strange to recognize places and buildings in a foreign country, but it also is helping to make this transition a little easier. I love Guatemala and the people of Guatemala and am SO beyond thankful that this is where the Lord has put me. Antigua is just as beautiful as I remember it and I was even able to find a few of the places we went to while in Antigua last summer. The weather is quite chilly, but at the same time a very welcomed changed from the Florida heat.

Due to a few changes in the number of people going on the race since training camp, we have already had some team changes. At training camp they said to lay down all of our expectations and to just stand with open hands before our King. So the very first day of our world race journey, we were all provided with an opportunity to put this into practice. It was SO incredible to see how all of my squad mates handled the team changes with their hands wide open! Team Arrow has now been blessed with another amazing team member. Ashley Auman will now be joining our team and I can’t wait to elaborate more on the incredible person she is in an upcoming blog (so check back for that blog).

We are staying at a beautiful hostel and have the blessing of sleeping in beds for the next few days. We will be getting our ministry assignments within the next few days, and will leave for them on Wednesday. I am beyond excited to find out what ministry we will be doing for the next month! Stay tuned for another blog with more details about what we will be doing.

p.s. I will upload some pictures once I figure out how to resize them to the proper size 🙂
