Is this real life?!?

        On October 2nd I will be meeting up with my squad at LAX to fly toGuatemala! As many of you know God rocked my world on a mission trip to Guatemala last summer (for more details on that trip check out my How I was called to missions blog). I am beyond excited to begin this incredible World Race journey in the place where God ignited a passion in my heart for international missions. When I left Guatemala I knew I would make it back there one day, but never did I think that it would be so soon!

      

       At training camp we were given a list of countries that we may be going to. I say “may be going to” because at training camp they told us that the countries may change and probably will change. This is going to be a year of flexibility, so we have to remain flexible when it comes to the countries we will be going to. So the countries are…….

      I still can’t believe that I will be leaving to start this journey in 21 days! In order to go on this journey I need your support. The amount of prayer support and financial support I have already received has blown me away! I can’t even begin to express how much your support means to me. Through this support raising process God has shown up in mighty ways and has reminded me of His faithfulness over and over again. I am not going to lie; the amount of money I needed to raise in order to participate in the World Race was a big reason why I hesitated to apply for the race. I thought there is no way I could raise $14,300! That is enough money to buy a decent car! However I quickly realized that it wasn’t about ME raising the money, it was about GOD providing the money in ways that would bring HIM glory!  If I could raise the money on my own, God would not be glorified through this process.

      Currently, thanks to many supporters, I have about $6,000 in my account. However, with pledged donations and monthly supporters it brings my estimated total up to $8,500!!! Praise the Lord! In a matter of two weeks the Lord provided $4,000! Nothing is too big for our God! I am still in need of $5,800 in order to be fully funded. I have no doubt that God will provide the rest of the support. I just ask that you prayerfully consider becoming a part of this journey by giving either a one time donation or becoming a monthly supporter. No amount is too small, whether it is $5, $10, or $20. To put things into perspective, if 27 more people commit to giving $20 a month for the next 11months I would be fully funded! So if you feel led to give, just click the support me tab to the left.       By supporting me financially and through prayer you become a part of this journey! You will be alongside me holding oprhans, caring for the homeless, and feeding the hungry all around the world. Without supporters I would not be able to go into the nations to unleash God’s Kingdom.
