I was blessed to spend some of my time growing up in beautiful Bradenton, Florida with my parents and 5 older siblings. I came to know the Lord personally at a very tender age and He continues to draw me close to Him. We left the white, sandy beaches that I had known as home and moved back to Katy, Texas, where I had been born ten years prior.
I have lived in and around the Houston-area for the past 14 years. I played sports in junior high and high school and was very involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at my public school and my youth group. I have had many jobs that have taught me very important life-skills, but I feel the Lord tugging at my heart to follow Him in obedience wherever He may lead, even to the ends of the earth.
I enjoy doing anything outdoors! I especially love mountain-biking (or as close as you can get to it in flat-as-a-pancake-Houston!). I love playing volleyball and enjoying time with my nieces and nephews.
When I was 17 the Lord opened my eyes for the first time to His heart for the nations. I have been on several short-term mission trips to Mexico, as well as having opportunities to minister in Venezuela, and Albania. Each trip I have taken God has grown my capacity to love those that He loves. My heart is broken as His is for the people that are lost without knowing His grace and mercy.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity of a lifetime to serve God in the World Race. I am inherently adventurous and view this trip as a chance to grow in intimacy with my Creator while exploring His awesome creation and sharing His love with those that don’t know Him.
