Month 10 here we go! Originally we were to go to Mexico for October. However, a few months ago our route was changed, and instead we are in Belize. Fusion Squad is the first complete squad to do ministry in Belize.
We Banditos are with the Macho Nachos in Belmopan, the capital of Belize. We are living at Belize Basecamp, a ministry built by Mona Wilkerson and her son Shawn. After a work trip to Belize a few years ago, they felt God calling them here and found this home and land. Their vision is to provide housing for teams and come alongside established churches and ministries. Shawn is located in Washington with his family, but Mona lives here on the property and is a welcome addition to our fusion family.
When Mona knew we were coming she contacted her network to let them know we were coming and to find ministry opportunities for us. We have helped the Belmopan Church of the Nazarene (Mona’s church) with outreach ministry to the rural community of More Tomorrow. There we ran a VBS program our first full week. The kids were so sweet and each day more parents came to hear the Bible lesson. They were probably the most attentive and respectful kids I have worked with and it was such a joy to teach them and play sports with them
We have also helped with some manual labor projects. The Nazarene church is renovating their parsonage for a missionary family, and we were asked to paint and clean. Then we spent a day helping Step of Faith church clean and move into their new building.

Belize is beautiful and hot! We have been blessed to go exploring already. We went cave tubing and swimming and have explored the Mayan ruins at Xunantunich. How can our calendar be this full and not even halfway through the month! God is good.
Thank you for your continued prayers. This month I am feeling more personal attacks then I have in a while. When the enemy is working this hard it means that I’m doing something right. Fighting off lies and doubts and suffering physically with headaches.
