Hey All,
A month on top of Africa, in the highest country, was amazing. We were the first squad to minister in Lesotho. Our ministry was a lot of preaching and relationship building.
Personally, I had a lot of time to sit with God and deepen our relationship. This month I practiced asking for His schedule and then following along. This often looked like being on the look out for open doors and walking through them. Sometimes it led to conversations. Sometimes to opportunities to encourage or comfort someone, like when a church member showed up unannounced and invited two people to her house for the night. Debbie and I quickly grabbed pajamas and toiletries and jumped in the van. Less than an hour after we arrived at the house, she received a call that her brother-in-law had died. Debbie and I were able to pray for the family and watch the little ones as the older children grieved. God’s schedule is perfect.
I trust you are all well. We are now in South Africa our last month in Africa.
