I want to share a miracle that happened this last week.
September 26 was our first fundraising deadline, and we had to have $3,500 in our accounts. Though I had over $4,000 pledged in monthly gifts, I was under the $3,500 goal in my account. The morning of the 26th I logged in to check and was devastated to see I was short. I felt like a failure for not meeting a requirement. God showed me that I was depending on my own strength for provision and not His then forbid me from checking my account deadline more than once a week. I picked Sundays. He said, “OK, but not this Sunday.” It was hard to not check through the week but this weekend when I looked my account balance was over $4,000! The best part is that the final three donations that put me over the goal all arrived on September 26. God is good!
The miracle was not just that the money was there. Though I know that at least one of those donations was donated too late in the week to have arrived on the 26th. The miracle was also the work He did in me. My attitude and attention was radically changed that weekend. My submission allowed Him to orchestrate all of that.
