Time is finite.
Over the race, I have come to realize that time is finite and to value the moments I have here. Time is all you have. Time is all you can give. And one day you will look back at how you spent your time here on earth.
Well let’s change it… One day (soon) you will look at how you spent the year.
How did you spend the year 2012? What did you do? What were some accomplishments? What were
some setbacks? What are some future goals?
As I am coming to the last leg of the race, I am coming into a time of reflection. And I have begun to ponder the time I spent this year… the people I have seen, the places I have been, the experiences that have changed my life. And I wonder is that enough? Is this whole adventure really coming to an end?
Well the answer is Yes – whether I want to hear it or not. I have less the 30 days till I hit American soil. And I am coming to accept that fact. But I am still struggle with the whole time is finite thing. I understand it… But that doesn’t mean I like.
Although this should be the part of my reflections of the year – the highlights and low points… I actually have not gotten that far and I may not this month… but I wanted to start reflecting. I want to challenge you to think about how time is finite, and what did you accomplish this year.
*More to come from the Philippines. Flying to a different island for ministry on Saturday. One month left!
