“This is my God box. When problems prey on my mind, I write them down, fold them up, and put them through the slot. Once they’re inside this box, they’re God’s problem and not mine.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but it works. I’m a fixer. And a worrier. Ive never been able to just let things go. I want to play God, if you will. Everytime I do, things go awry. So I have this. A simple brown hatbox. It reminds me to put my faith in God and not in myself. The bonus comes when I see my prayers answered.” From Redeeming Love
This month i was in Mozambique working with an organization called Beacon of Hope International. This is a place were teenage boys can come in order to train them up to be leaders in the communities. It's a three year program of school and learning a trade. (such as farming). They are also taught the Bible and have church each week. Through this organization, lives have been changed and leaders have been risen up. Angie is over the organization and she is the glue and the backbone to this place. It's been a blessing and a honor to work with her and learn from her. This month my team did this God Box idea. And I love it. I love writing down my prayers, my concerns, my needs… and giving them to God.

Dear God, I know your hand of protection is over PoPo right now, but bring him home. Bring PoPo home to his mother. A mother who cares so deeply for her son. A mother who loves. Lord, tonight is the night. PoPo has been in police custody for 45+ days. Its time for a son to come home to his mother. Lord, I pray that the police will have grace and mercy on him tonight.

Dear God, I pray for the bush. I pray for the community we are going into, that you would prepare their hearts and open up their minds to us. Lord, I come before, knowing you will provide all things. Lord, I know that you will provide the funds for this outreach. I know, because you are good. There is about 800 left to come in, work in people's hearts. I give this to you, Father.

Dear God, have grace on us. Have mercy on us. We are surrounded by the police with a driver who doesn’t have his license. God your hand of protection is over us and over this vehicle. Soften the police hearts, allow all the conflict to settle.
Answered! June 2, 2012. After 30 minutes, we were allowed to go free. God was at work in this situation. Cause we were without our passports and it could have been bad. Praise God! The police had grace on us today.
