7:30/8:30am – Find out that Haiti has decided to observe daylight savings time for the first time soooo we just lost an hour – time to hurry up and load the bus

9am – Leave Grande Guave on a 35 passenger bus with 45 packs, daypacks, and people crammed onto it. Nothing like personal space on the World Race.

11am – Arrive at the Port-au-Prince airport and find out flight is delayed till 6:39 pm

7:07pm – Take off from Haiti

11pm – Land in America! But not for long…. Go through customs, collect bags, drag bags to shuttle, take shuttle to Terminal 1, check in, get tickets, drop off bags, go through security, and run to the gate. They held the plane for us since it was a group of 45 people… Craziness)
